FARSITE Simulator Core -- Take the Graphical User Interface (GUI) away from FARSITE and what do you have left? The FARSITE Simulator Core. This code is meant for use in non-Microsoft Windows environments and currently works under (at least) the Linux operating system. In its current form, the FARSITE core is invoked from the command line and configured by an ASCII text settings file. In the current release an API has been introduced which allows users to configure and control a FARSITE run using their own C++ or Python code.
