Daniel L. Guthrie (Danne) holds a degree in Electronics Technology from the College of Technology at U of M. Danne started working at the lab as an electronics technician with Ron Babbitt developing the F.A.S.S. packages. Acting as the computer guy for the Fire Chemistry project the job morphed into a computer specialist. The job continued to evolve as the project acquired a satellite downlink station. Danne now workis on the dark side of (very) remote sensing, dealing with Terabytes of data and exotic hardware.
Danne is a amateur radio operator and plays guitar. He is active in the boy scout leadership and he likes to crawl around on rocks, usually vertical!
