W. Matt Jolly is an Ecologist in the Fire, Fuel and Smoke Science Program at the Missoula Fire Sciences Laboratory.  He received an AAS in Electronics Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force, a BA in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia and a PhD in Forestry from the University of Montana.  

Matt's main research interests center around linking plant physiological process with combustion and fire behavior characteristics of live fuels.
