This web page contains directions for printing and constructing many of the materials for a FireWorks trunk. To create a CD of this material please download our disk image files(right click and Save): ISO Disk Image.
To create an entire FireWorks trunk, please print the additional materials.
The information below describes materials for individual activities. It is organized according to the Curriculum. Some materials are listed several times; the FireWorks Notebook, for example, is listed under 8 activities. If you're downloading information from several activities, save yourself time and paper: Print those documents only once.

- A teacher aid for this activity is available. The first section summarizes and illustrates the the first section of Activity 8-4, that is, the lab where smoke production is estimated. The second section introduces the concepts of atmospheric stability and inversion, which are used in the second demonstration of Activity 8-4.

Additional Materials
Purchasing and setting up containers for a FireWorks trunk. Use this page only if you are assembling a complete trunk. Dimensions are in inches.
Your trunk will reside in 3 large, hinged shipping containers. They need to be solid:
- Boxes A& B are hinged distribution containers, each 19W x 26L x 15H
- Box C (Teacher Box) is a single hinged distribution container, 18.5W x 22L x 12H
Within the 3 distribution containers, you'll need the following smaller boxes. These can probably be purchased at local stores

All containers should be labeled. To do this…
Print the following on Avery 5165 ("full sheet") labels or similar forms:
- Labels for small boxes. Trim & attach to the small boxes that go into the trunk.
- Labels for the three big trunks. Trim & attach to the trunk boxes Cover with clear adhesive tape.
- Content lists for Teacher Kits. Trim & attach to the front of accordion folders for kits in the Teacher Box.
Print the following on Avery 5161 labels or similar forms:
