Image: Greg Cohn's photoGreg Cohn is a Forestry Technician and Fire Modeler at the Missoula Fire Sciences Laboratory. He received a B.S. in Resource Conservation from the University of Montana's School of Forestry and a Certificate in GIS from the University of Montana.

Greg's background is in tree and fuel inventory. He has worked at the Fire Lab since 2006 and has been involved with investigating fuels distribution, fire effects and severity, effects of thinning treatments, and the effects of insects on fuels structure. Greg is currently working on several projects using Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS) and FireBGC to model changes in stand structure following multiple disturbance from insects and fire.
