Hoagland receives The Wildlife Society's 2017 Diversity Award

Congratulations to FFS Wildlife Biologist and Tribal Liaison Serra Hoagland for receiving The Wildlife Society’s (TWS) Diversity Award. Per TWS, “The Diversity Award recognizes an individual or organization for outstanding efforts in promoting ethnic and gender diversity in the natural resource-related professions, especially wildlife conservation and education. The award recognizes and honors promotion of and support for diversity in the workforce, academic enrollment, or organizational membership. The Diversity Award recognizes an individual or an organization for outstanding efforts in promoting ethnic and gender diversity in the natural resource-related professions, especially wildlife conservation and education. The award recognizes and honors promotion of and support for diversity in the workforce, academic enrollment, or organizational membership.”  Serra received her award at the annual TWS meeting in Albuquerque in September.
